Laura Fulkerson, DVM

A native of Louisville, Ky, Dr. Fulkerson completed her Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Biology at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.  She continued at The University of Tennessee to complete her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.  After returning to Louisville, Dr. Fulkerson has practiced as both an associate and as a relief veterinarian. It has been a lifelong dream to own a practice and she is very excited to share this endeavor with her friend and partner, Dr. Todd Yates.

Outside of work, Dr. Fulkerson enjoys time with her family.  Currently this consists of her husband (Wade), 15-month old son (Fox), 2 stepchildren (Maddie and Will), 17 year old cat (Macy), 9 year old Rottie (Maddie), 5 year old Lab (Trauma), and 2 ball pythons (Biscuit and Gravy).  However, twin girls are expected in February of 2010!  Once upon a time, she found time for traveling, camping and kayaking in her spare time.
